About the Facilitator:
Manda Scott is currently the Director of HR and Staff Development at Kittitas Valley Healthcare in Ellensburg, WA. Prior to this role, she held several other HR Leadership roles including HR Director for Sunrise Outreach Center, a small non-profit organization focused on homelessness, human trafficking, and hunger, and Sr. Manager of Organization Relations and Development at Virginia Mason Memorial Hospital, where she worked for a total of 9 years in various HR and Organization Development roles.
Manda received her Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Gonzaga University and bachelors degrees in both Public Health and Spanish from Central Washington University. Manda holds a Senior Professional of Human Resources credential (SPHR). She also holds training certifications in Employment Law, Crucial Conversations, Managing Organizational Transitions, Type and temperament (personality and communication styles) and Leadership Coaching. Manda is passionate about communication, culture, and helping organizations be successful and effective by developing their talent.
Manda has also been a member of Junior League of Yakima, a women’s leadership and philanthropy organization, for over 7 years where she served on the Board of Directors. Manda has also served as Board President for the Dispute Resolution Center for Yakima and Kittitas Counties and Board President for the Washington State Healthcare Human Resources Association.
