This session will introduce you to a roadmap and maturity model grounded in lean concepts and will guide you – through interactive exercises – in beginning to (1) assess your current state, (2) set goals and (3) plan concrete next steps for your Accounting & Finance team’s lean transformation. You will leave with a draft action plan as well as an overview of the Lean Accounting body of knowledge.

About the Facilitator:
Miek DeLuca has 25 years of experience including over 15 years of Finance leadership experience in the corporate environment. Prior to his work as a consultant, Mike served as Executive Director of Finance at Group Health Cooperative in Seattle, where he led the lean transformation of his own department, evolved the role of Finance to meet the changing needs of a lean organization, and co-led the transformation of the financial planning process to better align with the strategy deployment and continuous improvement cycles of the lean enterprise. Mike has a Master of Science in Finance degree, is a Fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
