TWI JI was introduced in 2015 and has come to play many roles including supporting global standardization of quality and operational processes, workforce development , knowledge capture and transfer, and integration of acquisitions. It has earned a critical role in the Tekni-Plex Management Operating System.
Achieving adoption of TWI across so many sites and management groups presents sobering challenge s and many opportunities for wins. This session will share the application of JI to prevailing challenges, thus proving the worth of a methodology few had previously heard of. About the Facilitator:
Thomas has over 30 years of experience in a range of industries including fisheries management with NMFS in Alaska, packaging development roles with Kraft/General Foods and Sara Lee, project management and new product development roles with Tetra Pak, and global leadership roles in quality and operational excellence with companies specializing in material processing and converting. Thomas is a Certified TWI Trainer in both JI and JR and a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He is presently leading the global deployment of TWI Job Instruction at Tekni-Plex, Inc.
